2011 award wins
We won the Broker Customer Care Initiative of the Year award at the Insurance Times UK Claims Excellence Awards!
The team had a fantastic time at the prestigious awards ceremony in London. Managing Director Simon Mabb says: “The true test of any insurance broker is the service their clients receive when making a claim. We are constantly looking to improve our service and this recognises the effort we put in to be the best.”
One of our team Gwyn Evans, aged 25, was also nominated for a fantastic industry accolade. The Young Insurance Broker of the Year gives young brokers an opportunity to meet some of the biggest names in the industry. Gwyn won the regional event held in Leeds. He then went on to attend the final event along with 14 other young brokers who won their regional events.
Chairman Justin Romero says: “We are delighted that Gwyn has gone so far in this competition. He deserves this success as he works hard on behalf of his clients and Romero!”
And now for the biggest award win yet…
We won the Independent Regional Insurance Broker award at the Insurance Times Awards! Romero was crowned the winner following a presentation to a panel of industry judges. We joined 1,500 insurance professionals in London to find out the results and we were delighted to come away victorious.
The team here work so hard to deliver extra service to our clients and it’s fantastic to see our efforts recognised.
Our Claims Service achieves awards success in 2012
Following our fantastic award win last year – the Claims Customer Care Award – the team were yet again nominated for their outstanding Claims Service. Romero Insurance Brokers was shortlisted for the Outstanding Broker Claims Team of the year Award.
Here at Romero we work hard to ensure our clients receive a fast and fair settlement. So it’s great to see our claims team get recognition for their market leading service.
2013 awards success
Our claims team were selected as finalists in the UK Claims Excellence Awards as Broker Claims Team of the Year!
Claims Service is the true test of any Insurance Broker. We pride ourselves on the service our clients receive when they need to make a claim. We have invested heavily in our staff and are constantly reviewing our procedures to ensure we deliver optimum results.
Claims director Jody Thirkell says: “We are delighted to be shortlisted for this award. The Claims Team work extremely hard to ensure our clients get the very best service. It is fitting that their efforts have been recognised by the UK Claims Excellence committee.”
We were also shortlisted for the Chartered Insurance Broker of the year at the UK Insurance Broker Awards. Just 1% of all Insurance Brokers hold the coveted Chartered Status. So it was an honour to reach the final for this award in the centenary year of the Chartered Insurance Institute.
2014 continues our award-winning streak!
Romero Insurance Brokers was nominated for two prestigious Commercial Insurance Awards. It is the showcase for excellence and recognises the efforts of insurance professionals operating to the highest level within the industry.
We were nominated for the Commercial Property category. Our Sports and Leisure division was also nominated for the Best Broker/Underwriter Partnership Award for the work we have carried Liberty Mutual Insurance.
In another amazing bit of award success news, the team were shortlisted for Independent Broker of the Year and won Commercial Broker of the Year at the Insurance Times Awards. We work tirelessly to make sure our clients receive the best service possible. This is and always will be the bedrock for our continued growth and success, so it’s great to be recognised for this.
