Welcome to the Romero Group Charitable Trust.

This trust has been set up, to provide financial assistance for individuals or organisations in financial hardship, giving them the opportunity to apply for grants to alleviate this hardship.

This application process is open to anyone (with some exclusions listed below), and applications are assessed on a regular basis.

It’s important that during your application, you provide as much detail as possible so we can understand your situation in our assessment of whether we are able to award a grant. You can upload up to five supporting documents using the form below, to help with your application.

Our Trustees will meet once a month to assess applications however if you are in urgent financial hardship that requires immediate attention, there is the opportunity to mark your application as such in the form below.

Exclusions

Community Interest Companies
Infrastructure or ‘umbrella’ organisations. We would consider requests from these organisations only for any direct delivery of support to disadvantaged people.

Organisations whose primary purpose is to give funds to individuals or other organisations. This means organisations using more than 50% of annual expenditure as grants.

Charities working predominantly outside England and Wales.

Organisations that do not have a purpose/benefit beyond the promotion of religion.
